imagine... cici gets into the trash and spills it all over the place... like today when I went out and left her alone... garbage everywhere when I came back home... didn't think that she could get upstairs but she jumped over the barricade to the stairs and knocked down a table in the process to get upstairs to get into the trash...

now this dog actually helps out at home... and takes the trash OUT... must be nice...

Going postal...

I talked to both Cici, my dog, and my postal worker yesterday... well, it was the first time since we moved in here seven months ago that we saw our postal worker... we live in the boonies, so our mailbox is down the street, our postal worker does not come to the door... Cici was very happy and excited to see our postal worker and the postal worker was ready to whip out her pepper spray... does she bite, she asked... Nope... she just wants to lick your feet... and more so since the postal worker had a great big package with cici's name on it, not really, but it was a package for her...

Now isn't this a kicker that postal workers in NYC don't get bit by dogs but California postal workers do... just goes to show you since I am bi-coastal, originally from NYC and lived in La la land for 12 years... people in NYC are upfront about whether they like you or don't and Californians (southern) are mostly smile to your face stab you in the back behind you... being that dogs are smarter than the average bear, maybe they notice little things like that... or maybe postal workers in California are just plain mean, don't know... maybe the air pollution has gone to the dawgs heads... or maybe too many dogs in California are left alone all day ... what do you think, folks?

WASHINGTON - For a mail carrier looking to escape dog bites, New York City is the place to go, and California is the place to avoid.

The New York metropolitan area recorded no dog bites of letter carriers last year.
At the other end of the scale, the Santa Ana, Calif., area led the nation with 96 bitten carriers, and three of the top five spots for carriers to get bitten were in the Golden State.
